Financial Accountant – General Ledger

Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliation of balance sheet and P&L accounts
• Contribute to the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements under US GAAP and local regulations
• Ensure timely analysis and reconciliation of accounts, including documentation of differences between US GAAP and local GAAP
• Provide support during internal and external audits.
• Prepare and process accounting entries such as accruals, prepayments, deferred taxes, and revenue recognition
• Support the preparation of statutory tax filings (CIT, VAT), treasury and statistical reports

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting with focus on GL processes
• Hands-on experience with month-end closing and independent ledger maintenance
• Knowledge of tax/VAT reporting and statutory compliance
• Solid understanding of financial reporting; US GAAP knowledge required, IFRS exposure considered an advantage
• Fluent English
• Experience working with SAP
