Head of Logistics Excellence
We are currently supporting an international organization in the recruitment process for the position of Head of Logistics Excellence — a global leadership role responsible for setting and implementing logistics strategy, standards, and best practices across all regions.
This is a high-impact position for an experienced logistics professional who combines strategic thinking with strong operational expertise, and who thrives in a dynamic, transformation-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement global standards and processes for logistics operations.
- Lead the execution of the global logistics strategy and performance improvement agenda.
- Partner with regional teams and network planning leaders to optimize warehousing and transportation networks.
- Drive productivity and cost optimization initiatives across logistics operations.
- Support large-scale transformation projects, including ERP rollouts and logistics digitalization.
- Assess and oversee the establishment of shared service centers for logistics operations.
- Develop and deploy the global digital logistics strategy to enhance efficiency and service levels.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain or Logistics, with exposure to global operations.
- Strong background in logistics optimization, warehousing, and transportation management
- Experience with ERP transformations and shared service implementation is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills – ability to translate insights into action.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills within international environments.
- Strategic mindset combined with hands-on approach and commercial acumen.
- Strong command of English (both written and spoken).
