HR Specialist with German (F/M/D)

Your responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive HR operational support to employees and managers across the DACH region, with a focus on Germany
  • Coordinate employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, contractual changes, and offboarding
  • Act as a point of contact for HR-related queries, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Maintain and update employee data in local and global HR systems, ensuring accuracy and data integrity
  • Manage and track HR requests through a case management system, ensuring timely resolution in line with SLA targets
  • Prepare and process employee documentation such as contracts, amendments, and certificates in compliance with internal standards and German labor law
  • Support the administration of employee benefits and related programs
  • Participate in HR data audits and ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and internal regulations
  • Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and other internal stakeholders
  • Handle ongoing HR administrative tasks as required

Employer requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Previous experience in an HR operations / HR administration / shared services environment
  • Very good command of German and English (both written and spoken)
  • Solid understanding of German labor law, HR processes, and employment regulations
  • Familiarity with HR systems (e.g. SAP, Workday or similar) and case management tools
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large sets of data accurately
  • Well-developed organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders at different levels
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment and adapting to changes
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel and Outlook)
