What you’ll be doing
- Building precise sales forecasts – leverage statistical models and market data to deliver highly reliable sales and demand projections.
- Translating data into strategy – convert complex datasets into actionable recommendations that guide senior leadership and sales teams.
- Advanced trend and performance analysis – deep-dive into historical sales, seasonality, and market fluctuations to detect patterns and anticipate future performance.
- Optimizing planning accuracy – validate forecast assumptions using both internal systems (Anaplan) and external data sources (Nielsen, Connector).
- Partnering with stakeholders – collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to align forecasts with commercial strategies and market realities.
- Inventory planning – anticipate stock and forward stock levels to maintain availability and minimize risk for key accounts.
- Presenting to leadership – deliver clear, data-rich presentations to senior management to support informed decision-making.
- Team leadership – manage and mentor a junior analyst, fostering analytical excellence in your team.
What you bring
- A degree in a quantitative or technical field: statistics, econometrics, mathematics, engineering, or similar.
- Proven analytical expertise – experience with forecasting, trend analysis, or data-driven business planning.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong skills in PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI is highly valued.
- Experience with market data platforms (e.g., Nielsen Discover) or advanced analytics tools is a plus.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a structured, data-oriented approach.
- Strong communication skills – the ability to simplify complex analyses for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Professional English skills (B2+ level); FMCG experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
