Accounts Payable Manager (M/F)
For our Client, an international organization based in Warsaw, we are currently looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager who will take responsibility for leading and developing the AP function.

Your responsibilities
- Leading, developing and supporting Team Leaders and the wider Accounts Payable organization
- Overseeing day-to-day AP operations and ensuring the smooth execution of invoice and payment processes
- Managing activities related to month-end closing and supplier master data
- Monitoring key performance indicators and ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness of AP processes
- Identifying root causes of invoice and payment discrepancies and cooperating with relevant stakeholders to prevent recurring issues
- Building effective communication and maintaining proactive cooperation with Procurement and other business partners
- Supervising the reconciliation and resolution of overdue invoices, outstanding payments and other AP-related discrepancies
- Ensuring appropriate quality standards and conducting regular reviews of processes and team performance
- Supporting internal controls and participating in SOX-related audits by providing required documentation, data and operational support
- Driving process improvements and promoting high operational standards across the AP organization
We are looking for someone who has
- Solid professional experience within Accounts Payable / Procure-to-Pay, including experience in a leadership role
- Experience in managing Team Leaders, managers or larger accounting teams
- Strong understanding of end-to-end AP processes, including invoice processing, payments and month-end activities
- Experience in working with KPIs, service quality and process performance
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to identify process issues, analyse root causes and implement improvements
- Experience in an international or complex organizational environment
- Very good command of English
- Familiar with SAP
- Knowledge of SOX controls or experience supporting internal or external audits will be an advantage
