Global Sustainability Manager (F/M/D)
For our client, an international manufacturing company, due to the development of internal structures, we are looking for passionate and committed candidates for the position of Global Sustainability Manager (F/M/D).

Responisibilities:

Develop and implement a group-wide sustainability strategy aligned,

Establish governance frameworks, KPIs, and reporting rhythms to monitor progress across all regions and plants,

Act as central point of contact for HQ leadership on all ESG matters,
-
Monitor, interpret, and cascade customer-specific sustainability requirements (e.g., carbon footprint data, recycled content, supply chain due diligence),
-
Ensure compliance with key regulations: EU CSRD, CSDDD, Energy Law, US SEC climate rules, Korea’s Green Growth Law,
-
Work closely with regional sustainability leads (or plant managers) in Europe, North America, and Korea to ensure consistent implementation of policies, data collection, and improvement projects,
-
Oversee group-wide collection of Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions, working with procurement and logistics for upstream/downstream data,
-
Lead preparation of annual sustainability report (e.g., GRI, ESRS, or local standards),
-
Set science-based targets (SBTi) and drive reduction roadmaps (e.g., renewable energy purchasing, process electrification),

Develop training modules for plant and regional teams on sustainability regulations, reporting tools, and customer requirements.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Business, or related field. Master’s/MBA preferred,

5+ years of experience in sustainability, EHS, or corporate ESG roles,
-
Proven track record of managing global sustainability programs across multiple continents, working with diverse cultural and regulatory environments,

Familiarity with carbon accounting (GHG Protocol), LCA tools, and ESG ratings (EcoVadis, CDP, Sustainalytics),
-
Excellent project management and stakeholder influencing skills – able to drive action without direct hierarchical authority over plant teams,
-
Fluent in English (working language). Additional European language is a strong plus,

Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 25–30%).
