RTR Accountant with Greek

We are looking for an experienced RTR Accoutnat, who will join a finance and acocutnacy teams within structers of an international production company that has it's branch in Warsaw. 
As a part of RTR teams you will be dealing with various aspects of financial statemts, reproting and accouting. Your role will be dedicated to supporting and working with the Greek market, so knowledge of Greek is desirable.

Scope of duties:

  • Execute month-end closing procedures in compliance with established timelinesand IFRS standards
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting requirements
  • Post General Ledger journal entries
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure proper documentation of transactions
  • Maintain Fixed Assets ledger
  • Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies as needed
  • Support Intercompany process
  • Provide support for internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries
  • Collaborate with managers to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably with exposure to RTR functions
  • Strong proficiency in English and Greek both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with stakeholders
  • Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and their application in financial reporting processes
  • Experience in performing month-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements
  • Proficiency in handling fixed assets accounting, including depreciation calculations, impairment assessments, and asset reconciliations
  • Ability to conduct thorough account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems, with experience in SAP is an advantage
