Site Civil Construction Engineer (M/W/Other)
For our Client, a global investor and developer in the renewable energy sector, we are seeking an experienced Site Civil Construction Engineer to support the delivery of a large-scale photovoltaic and energy infrastructure project.
This role will be responsible for managing all civil construction activities on site, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, quality standards, project schedules, and safety regulations while coordinating multiple stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all civil construction works related to the photovoltaic plant, energy storage facilities, diesel generator area, switch station, transmission lines, and associated substation infrastructure
- Review construction drawings, technical documentation, and engineering plans to ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, and local regulations
- Coordinate construction activities, resources, equipment, subcontractors, and materials to ensure project milestones are achieved according to schedule
- Monitor construction quality, conduct inspections, oversee acceptance of completed works, and ensure adherence to company quality management standards
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements while proactively identifying and mitigating construction risks
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, inspection records, variation orders, and as-built documentation
- Coordinate effectively with EPC contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between civil and electrical installation activities
- Liaise with local utility and grid operators when required to support project execution and commissioning activities
- Provide regular progress updates and technical support to project management teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 3 years of on-site construction management experience within power generation, utility infrastructure, or renewable energy projects
- Experience in photovoltaic, energy storage, transmission line, or substation projects will be considered a strong advantage
- Solid understanding of civil construction methodologies, quality control procedures, and construction acceptance standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to interpret structural, architectural, and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of quantity surveying and construction cost estimation principles
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in international project environments is preferred
- Previous cooperation with Chinese project teams will be considered an advantage
- Willingness to work on-site for extended periods and operate effectively within a multicultural environment
