Chief Accountant / Finance Manager (f/m/d)
We are looking for a hands-on Finance Manager with a strong accounting foundation who will take full ownership of the finance function for the Group’s Polish entities.
This role is ideal for someone who has grown from a Chief Accountant / Head of Accounting position into broader finance responsibilities — or for an Finance Manager with a solid accounting background who enjoys staying close to the numbers and the operational side of finance.
This position will require strong technical accounting expertise, confidence in statutory and group reporting and the ability to lead finance team (7 people) and operations in an international manufacturing environment.

Tasks:
- Supervise general and sub-ledger accounting. Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closings. Ensure compliance with Polish GAAP, Group policies, and US GAAP.
- Support cost accounting processes and ensure accuracy of standard costs within the ERP system
- Prepare Group reporting, perform variance analysis, support budget & forecast processes.
- Oversee local tax compliance, coordinate audits, ensure SOX and internal control compliance.
- Support for transfer pricing documentation.
- Lead and develop the local Finance team, ensure operational continuity, support recruitment and development.
- Support management decisions and participate in Group Finance projects such as AP automation and process harmonization.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit, or a related field
- Strong accounting background with proven experience in finance/accounting roles
- Previous experience as a Chief Accountant, Head of Accounting, or hands-on Finance Manager will be highly valued
- Experience in an international environment is an advantage
- Good understanding of Polish GAAP, US GAAP, internal controls, and compliance processes
- Knowledge of SAP or any other ERP-class system and advanced Excel skills
- Fluent Polish and professional English
