Fixed Assets Team Leader (F/M/D)

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop and support a team of approximately 10 specialists responsible for Fixed Asset Accounting processes.
- Organize the team’s daily workload, set priorities and ensure timely and accurate delivery of accounting activities.
- Oversee end-to-end Fixed Assets processes, including asset capitalization, transfers, depreciation, disposals and account reconciliations.
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Monitor team performance through agreed KPIs, service levels and quality standards.
- Act as the main escalation point for operational issues and support the team in resolving complex accounting cases.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, local finance teams and other departments across the organization.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and improve Fixed Assets processes.
- Support the implementation of process improvements, automation initiatives and changes within the accounting organization.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support audits by providing accurate documentation, explanations and relevant accounting data.
- Take responsibility for the team’s development through regular feedback, coaching, performance reviews and succession planning.
- Participate in finance transformation projects and other initiatives assigned by the Process Manager.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of professional experience in finance and accounting, preferably gained within an SSC or international organization.
- Previous experience in Fixed Asset Accounting, General Ledger or another relevant accounting process.
- At least 1 year of experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor or similar people management role.
- Practical knowledge of Fixed Assets processes, including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, disposals and reconciliations.
- Good understanding of month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Experience in managing operational performance, KPIs, service levels and process quality.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate, support and develop team members.
- Experience in process standardization, continuous improvement, transitions or automation initiatives.
- Very good command of English, enabling effective communication in an international business environment.
- Good knowledge of SAP or another ERP system.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a changing environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
