Procurement&Quality Manager
For our international operations in New Zealand, we are looking for an experienced professional who will be responsible for procurement management, grower cooperation, and quality control processes within the apple supply chain. The role combines operational purchasing, orchard supervision, supplier relationship management, and coordination of quality standards from fruit reception through packaging and dispatch.

Tasks:
- managing direct apple procurement on a packed per-kilo basis in line with company targets and procurement strategy
- building and maintaining long-term relationships with growers while supervising contract compliance and orchard performance
- negotiating and managing grower and vendor agreements, ensuring compliance with statutory and internal company requirements
- monitoring fruit quality during reception, packaging, storage, and dispatch, including preparation of operational quality reports
- supervising orchard management standards, grower certifications, and ensuring compliance with required quality expectations
- coordinating operational reporting, exporter liquidation data, and supporting Head Office representatives during business activities
Requirements:
- experience in the fruit industry, preferably within apples, orchard operations, or fresh produce procurement
- practical knowledge of fruit quality control processes, orchard standards, and supply chain operations
- experience in supplier management, contract negotiations, and cooperation with growers
- strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple operational activities simultaneously
- good command of English enabling effective communication in an international business environment
- willingness to travel and relocate within New Zealand depending on operational requirements
