RTR Master Data Specialist (SAP S/4HANA) (F/M/D)

Our client is an international organization operating across multiple European markets, currently undergoing a large-scale finance transformation connected with SAP S/4HANA implementation.

The company is building a centralized, process-oriented finance structure, with a strong focus on data quality, standardization, and system alignment across countries.

This position is strongly embedded in the RTR (Record-to-Report) area and focuses on financial master data within SAP S/4HANA.

You will support the transformation by working on how financial structures are defined, maintained, and aligned across different markets.

It’s an ideal next step for someone with a GL / RTR background, who wants to move closer to systems, data, and transformation projects.

Responsibilities:

Support governance and maintenance of financial master data in SAP (e.g. GL accounts, cost centers, profit centers)
Ensure consistency and alignment of financial structures across markets
Analyze existing finance processes and support transition to new system setup (TO-BE)
Participate in data harmonization and standardization initiative
Act as a contact point for finance master data topics within the project
Work closely with Finance, IT, and external partners
Support communication and alignment across different teams and countries
Monitor data quality and support continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain data standards, naming conventions, and governance rules
Support transformation activities and rollout preparation from RTR perspective
Assist in post-go-live stabilization and issue resolution

Requirements:

1–3 years of experience in RTR / GL / accounting
Understanding of financial structures (GL, chart of accounts, cost centers, reporting logic)
Experience with SAP (FI/CO or similar)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
English:B2+/C1
