Sourcing Specialist with German – Indirect – Fixed Term Contract
We are looking for an experienced Sourcing Specialist to join an international procurement organization and support sourcing activities for the German market.
In this position, you will focus primarily on indirect procurement, managing sourcing initiatives from requirements definition through supplier selection and contract implementation. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers and international Category Management teams, contributing to both local and broader procurement projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage operational and tactical sourcing activities for the German market.
- Support the implementation of category and procurement strategies by providing local market knowledge and collaborating with key stakeholders.
- Coordinate the full Source-to-Contract process, from defining business requirements through supplier selection.
- Prepare and conduct tenders, RFQs/RFPs and other sourcing activities.
- Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers and participate in contract discussions.
- Coordinate contract preparation, amendments, renewals and ongoing contract management.
- Evaluate supplier offers and recommend sourcing solutions based on commercial and business requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance and support improvement initiatives where required.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal business partners.
- Track procurement performance, savings opportunities and relevant KPIs.
- Support the implementation of negotiated agreements into operational purchasing processes.
- Maintain purchasing-related documentation and support internal compliance and control activities.
- Contribute to regional and international procurement and Category Management initiatives.
Your Profile
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, preferably within an international organization.
- Good understanding of end-to-end procurement processes, including Source-to-Contract and Purchase-to-Pay.
- Hands-on experience in supplier negotiations, tender processes and contract management.
- Experience working with the German market would be a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with procurement-related legal and commercial requirements.
- Very good command of English and at least B2-level German.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- Experience with SAP, particularly SAP MM, would be beneficial; SAP Ariba experience is an additional advantage.
